“My garage door is the quite heavy type… aluminum frames with simulated wood & frosted glass. It’s 8 years old. Quite recently when opening, it has shown signs of struggling, then acutely it could not go up even a quarter of the way. The counter-spring broke.
This trapped the vehicles in the garage. We could not go anywhere. We called various entities. Closed or no answer. The Door Care answered on a Saturday morning, and was there within 2 hours to assess the issue.
Jose of the Door Care helped in temporarily opening the heavy garage door, and we parked the cars in the driveway in the interim.
